Mayor's Prayer Breakfast 2025
Each year, the president issues a proclamation declaring the first Thursday of May a national day for prayer. On this date, we gather with other believers to respond to that invitation by gathering to lift up our leaders and elected officials in prayer, to worship together, and to celebrate God's faithfulness to our community, state, nation, and world.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

The Mayor's Prayer Breakfast of Great Holland/Zeeland is a 501(c)3 organization whose goal is to lift up our leaders in prayer. It is called the "Mayor's" Prayer Breakfast not because it has any formal affiliation with the office of the Mayor of Holland or Zeeland, but rather as an invitation to be in prayer for the mayor and all other elected officials.
